This is another one of those things where the internet is pretty useful for research. And this is no exception. After all, when it comes down to it, the question is pretty simple: what’s the difference between the word “e” and the word “a” in English? (Or, as we call it in our language of choice, the language of computers).
The answer is it’s all in ascii values. E is the most common value in English, but I don’t know what it is in Japanese, Chinese, and other languages. You can see this by looking at the ascii table above, which lists the most common values.
The most common value in English is an uppercase E. The most common value in Japanese is a lowercase e. The most common value in Chinese is a lowercase h. The most common value in Spanish is an uppercase c, so the word a is the most common value in Spanish.
The uppercase E, the lowercase e, the lowercase h, and the lowercase c all seem to be more common in English than their corresponding values in other languages. They’re all considered “common” in that they would be used in most of the written language (although Japanese would use its lowercase h in most cases), and they are used to represent all common values in English.
The thing is, many people don’t even realize that these values are all the same as each other, so they don’t even know what they’re saying. A good test for this is to look at a table of ascii values. If there’s a certain value that you can’t find in any language, take that value and see if it’s in that language.
The first thing you find is that these values are all the same. The ascii value for “e” is lowercase e, the ascii value for “a” is lowercase a, and the ascii value for “o” is lowercase o. Since these values are all the same, you can find the ascii values of almost any word in English. There are no words with lowercase vowels.
Theres a couple of places where the ascii value of English words changes. Words like “is” and “has” change from lowercase a to uppercase i. And “and” is lowercase o but only upper case o.
Ascii values are just a way to represent the letters of a word. Most commonly used words are uppercased, and the letters that are lowercase are considered to have a different meaning than the lowercase letters that are uppercase.

Let’s take a look at this table and see how the names of the letters in the word ‘a’ differ from those in the word ‘e’.
