When it comes to naming your baby, I’m not a fan of the term “designer”. The first time I heard the term “designer baby,” I was so horrified that I had to write “designer” on my calendar.
The term designer baby is used in the baby-name industry to mean one who takes care of or designs a baby and then they sell the baby as their own. Most often, the baby is raised as such, but this is also true for many other baby categories, such as babies with special needs and the parents of these babies. Designer babies are a very small segment of the baby-naming market and so it is understandable that many would be offended by this term.
For many of us, I don’t think it has an over-all negative connotation. I think it is more of a pejorative way of saying that someone is “designing” a baby. Many of the other baby-naming terms can be used to describe a similar concept, such as “baby-birthing” or “baby-nursing,” which is a very common term for baby-nursing.
This usage of the term “designer baby” is used especially in the US, where a designer baby is a baby born with a disability. The definition of a designer baby is a baby born with a disability, and the resulting baby is a designer baby. To this end, I think this is a term that is over-used and can be used in a derogatory way.
I think that the term designer baby is one of the most over-used words in the English language, and that its usage has become quite aggressive. While the term designer baby may be used to describe a disability or illness, I think it should be used for everyone who receives a baby. My dad, for example, was a designer baby, and so was my uncle in Canada.
The term designer baby is meant to identify someone who is unique, talented, or creative. So basically, a designer baby is one who is truly gifted and able, and doesn’t come from a family that has a specific disease. Some parents use designer babies to describe a disability or illness, but I think that’s a terrible way of using it.
I think the term designer baby is actually quite useful when describing how a child is perceived. I also think it is very misleading when used to describe someone who is truly gifted or talented. A disability is generally a lack of something, and a child who is gifted is also a child who is gifted at something. There are some cases where a child who is gifted at a skill or talent is also given a disability, but usually not in that case.
For example, when I was a kid I had dyslexia. I was a very bright kid, which was part of my problem. I wanted to excel at everything. The problem was that I had dyslexia. This is not a case of an adult being born with a disability, it’s a case of an adult being born with a problem.
If you have a child who is gifted at a skill or talent, it is likely that they will not be able to focus their attention on that skill or talent. The inability to focus on something leads to a lack of desire to do things in that particular area.
This is most likely what happens to people who have dyslexia. They are unable to concentrate on something. If you watch video games or any other form of video entertainment, you will be able to see someone who can not focus on something. That is dyslexia.
