Ollie and I are back from a visit to our favorite local olive farm, Lakewood, New York, where we ate a fantastic salad and spent time with family and friends just like back home. The visit to the olive farm made it clear to us that we can do things in a much more sustainable way. Although we’ve come to our senses, we still love all things olive and have tried to incorporate more local and organic ingredients into our everyday lives.
Our trip to the olive farm was part of a broader campaign to start a business promoting local and organic food. We believe that it was a great way to bring some of the best in the country to our daily lives. There are many great organic supermarkets that now carry our products, and we are confident that there is a huge demand for our product. We are still in the process of applying for a USDA organic certification, and our efforts to build a business are still in progress.
